DLS heavy duty 1911 sights have become so popular that there have been numerous requests to make DLS sights that will fit 1911 pistol slides which already have low mount Novak style mill cuts.

The sights on this page will fit that requirement, and have other important features.

The rear sight is machined from a single block of steel and features two locking screws. The rear face is serrated and has a bold U notch cut. The sharp edges are radiused to avoid hand cuts, but the sight still retains a heavy duty ledge suitable for one handed slide operation. The rear sight is thick enough for night insert installation as required. The overall sight design leaves enough material for custom blending to your slide.

The DLS front sight fits Novak style low mount cross dovetail slide cuts, and features an extra wide dovetail for precise blending to your slide. The sight blade incorporates a lock screw (instead of the problematic pin) for extra sight security. The blade is machined as one piece with the base and they maintain a maximum steel connection point for heavy duty durability. The blade is sized to allow machining into a perfect zero, and to accept night inserts as required.
