The D&L PPC (Professional Perimeter Carbine) was developed in the 1980s for police standoff situations which commonly occured at intermediate range: too far for the handgun and too close for a larger precision rifle. The PPC gained such an excellent reputation for performance that it was commonly acquired for competition, predators, and defense. The PPC's evolution has continued into the Flat Line carbine. The D&L FL carbine components and gas system have been selected to be balanced and regulated to work in concert with the FL muzzle brake, and to create a near recoiless firearm. This, combined with the mechanical accuracy the PPC is known for, allow for excellent accuracy with ease of shooting. |
