| Dave, The D&L custom gun is obviously crafted a lot better than factory as noted when spinning cylinders and cleaning... custom gun does not lead up... Eat your heart out Elmer... D&L base pin solution is first class. Much better than Elmer's solution or what other gunsmiths are doing. Really cool to see the threads cut perfectly into the base pin. Rock solid solution!!!! | Whenever fitting sights onto your revolver leave the cylinder open or out to assure the revolver is completely unloaded, and to assure that top strap screws do not come too far through and make contact with the cylinder. Test fit the sight and screws to determine if the screws need to be shortened before doing the final blue loctite installation. |
