1911 Speed Rib Slide Top |
|
The Speed Rib slide option is designed to assist speed shooters with indexing on target at high speed. The modified slide is angle cut on both sides to create a narrowed focal point, which allows the shooter to more precisely index the pistol with the target, even before the sights come into full alignment. During speed shooting competition events, where many targets are often big and close, the speed rib provides flash indexing on target to a degree that negates the need for a full sight picture on target. Speed shooters will understand the concept. When targets become smaller and or more distant, the shooter brings the sights into full alignment in a conventional manner. The Speed Rib is precisely machined directly into the slide, there is nothing to ever come loose, and it does not raise the sight line of the pistol's iron sights. |
